Finished all 25 lectures of the Immunary concepts course this week. Dubbed version, 250 minutes total, watched it in chunks between freelance jobs when things were slow.
The part that actually stuck with me was lecture 15, the “itch that rashes” idea — itch first, then the rash, then more scratching from that. I’ve been doing that exact loop for years without ever naming it.
Lecture 9 got me too. The bit about checking who funded a study before trusting the conclusion. I already do that compulsively with everything else I read, so hearing it laid out like that was weirdly validating.
One thing I wished for: a short written recap per lecture instead of just the video. Some of the later ones (the biologics lecture especially) packed in a lot, and I kept rewinding instead of just reading a summary page.
Still glad I sat through the whole thing. Already planning to go back to lecture 11 and 15 again once the notebook pile calms down a bit.
